Hi Reader,
You know when you have a lightbulb moment?💡You sing the song 🎵"I can see clearly now the rain is gone..." Okay, that might just be me. 😂
I am going to admit it: up until recently, I was stumped by storytelling marketing. It's all the rage, and I wasn't sure I was doing it right. So I did what everyone else is doing... I asked ChatGPT.
Just kidding! I did not ask ChatGPT.
I did download a resource from Laura Belgray. And that is when the 💡happened. Storytelling marketing is basically taking something that has happened to you (that is the story) and being able to segue that into marketing messaging.
Kind of like I just did. 🔦
Here are your story ideas:
- Worst/best job you ever had
- A big purchase you made or shopped for
- Observations of people in airports, on planes, on buses
- A character on a show that you identify with
- A personal challenge you are always working on
- Client feedback
- A recommendation
- Mistakes (big or small)
Selfies are also a great place to find stories. Why did you take it? Where were you? Who did you send it to?
